Work Drugs - Absolute Bearing

Stuart A
San José, Costa Rica

Evening govna!, I'm back, but I'm not gonna talk about UK, I'm gonna talk about Philadelphia. Yeah! actually about a duo from this state, and this album that I am introducing to you was released in 2012, their third album, and their last.

This album has this dreamy indie wave, is the perfect album to chill or to dance, don't know. My actual favorite song is License to drive (by the way, in the link below you can download it for free!), it remembers me The Drums, but I'm not going to compare them, because they are pretty different, and is just this song. They mix the voices in the songs and it sounds so good, like a really well-done dream pop. You can hear the full album right here:

These guys, Thomas Crystal and Benjamin Louisiana, recovered the sound of the eighties in this album, with a hard influence of  the new wave genre, but having the music of the present, this is just an exquisite album.

Also here is another interesting song for you and for free: West Coast Slide
You can buy it in here for just $5 Support the artist!

Hello gals, here are two new songs from this incredible band, but these are not original from them, the first one is from Sonic's Rendezvous Band , and the second one, "I Want You" is from The Troggs.

Best Coast - Crazy For You

Stuart A
San José, Costa Rica

West Coast nicknamed Best Coast, Here is a hint why is called that way.

It is summer in Costa Rica, and I don't have a choice but listen to surf music. And I'm here again with another Californian band, Best Coast. There is something special with bands with a girl lead-singer. And this band is full of youth, fun and surf. Actually the band is formed by two people, Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno. And this beautiful girl, had this voice, this magic voice, this voice that remembered me only but  good thoughts, thoughts of my past, happy thoughts.

Bethany Consentino

The album that I am gonna recommend today is called "Crazy For You" (2010), their first LP.

¿This album in one word? Happiness!, this album gathers together all different kind of emotions, and I'm for sure that is different for everybody, but in a good way, this kind of music can't be negative, this album either. Can be melancholic though. The album has 12 tracks (plus one bonus track), and all the songs are not longer than 3 minutes, very characteristic of punk music. Here is one single of the album:

This video represents the whole album, this is the feeling the band want to insert in all their songs, and it's great start to meet the band better, you should go for it.

If you wanna try the full album, here it is:

Wavves - Afraid of Heights

Stuart A.
San José, Costa Rica.

Get on the time machine where you will feel like in the 90's being in the 10's of the new millennium,  sick!, I know, 11th dimension, sort of stuff.

If you like punk music and if you travel to the beach several times (Or if you want to but you can't), you will love this musician and this genre (beach-punk likely? I don't know, genres these days are all mixed up). The album is called "Afraid of Heights", but people who are truly scared to heights should not listen this album because it has wild patterns, this is for young people (and I don't mean by age, I mean by mind), for people who love punk music and for people who love new things.

This album was released on March 26 of this year, and it was a great surprise to me, we are not used to listen this kind of music at this times, Am I right?
